The building forms part of the remnant building stock which makes up the historic town's fabric.
Single-storey weatherboard and iron cottage c.1920. Double hung sash windows, central front door, fanlight, side lights. Typical of cottages built of timber from Douglas Jones Timber Mill.
Has been recently re-roofed and a new fence erected.
Believed to have been the residence of a former Mayor of Guildford.
