An item of original Victorian street furniture still in use and representing an earlier colonial postal service.

Physical Description

A cast iron pillar box dated 1868 now mans (sic) the site where the 'halfway tree' once stood and where mails from Perth & Fremantle were once exchanged by horsemen.
