Statement of Significance
Aesthetically significant as an example of Fremantle’s vernacular architecture. Typical single storey cottage dating from the first decades of the twentieth century. Historically significant as a representation of working people’s living conditions in the Fremantle area.
Has undergone significant alterations but original form remains intact.
Physical Description
Single storey rendered and zincalume hipped roof house. The bull nosed veranda is supported by timber chamfered posts.
History
A cottage and workshop are recorded on lot 13b & 15b of 28 in 1910/11. (Fremantle Rate Book records).
