Historic - The Pallinup Estate was a soldier settler scheme area, there were many children on the
Estate and the Pallinup School had enrolment figures up to 48 children. There were tennis courts,
teacher accommodation and a two room school.
Social - used as a meeting place for surrounding landowners.
A plaque has been erected to mark the site.
The Pallinup School was first opened in a building on the Pallinup Estate. Later the Toolbrunup School
was shifted to Koj Loc 7103 and school resumed in this building. The school was first opened on 8th
September. 1925 with Kathleen O'Connor as head teacher. This school was closed on 9th May 1947
when the children were bused to the Gnowangerup School.
