Statement of Significance

The two storied building on a corner site has verandahs over the pavement and all the Edwardian exuberance of the hotel industry in 1900.

Physical Description

Fine brick hotel of characteristic goldfields style. It has been sympathetically redecorated internally and externally.

History

Construction: opened for business in September 1900 after the 1898 old wood/iron building had been demolished.
