Significant but not essential to an understanding of the history of the district: photographically recorded prior to any major redevelopment or demolition.

Statement of Significance

The place is significant as it is a burial site - one of a number of lonely graves in the
Shire.

History

A man named Heath came looking for land and called on Archie Douglas and Arthur
Sedery. He died in the bush and after he was found the police were notified. Heath had
been dead some time and was buried where he died below Archie Douglas' house.

The year of death was probably 1909/1910 as Arthur Sedary (and his brother Charles),
who took up a selection north of the 'Adadale', (see Little Kojonolokan) property of
Archie Douglas, didn't come to the district until around 1908.
