Physical Description
The place is a two storey brick. The frontage includes arches as part of the architecture.
Reasonably good but there has been some earlier alterations, which are not in keeping with the original design, in particular Avon Terrace area with the façade, verandah and windows.
There have been vast additions to the rear.
As of the 1 June 2005 the York Co-op has undertaken to source funding from relevant bodies to assist in the restoration of the outside of the building. The current photo shows what the building looked like prior to any funding received.
