The site is significant as a representation of a way of life no longer practiced. It has associations with the sandalwood cutters, wheatists, gold seekers and early settlers.
The track extends through Kumminin Homestead in a north east direction and becomes Garmony Rd after Fawcett Road.
The tracks were forged through the country by the sandalwood cutters. The pastoralists used the tracks, and later in the 1890s the goldseekers who trekked from the Albany Port through the Narembeen region, to get to the Coolgardie and Kalgoorlie goldfields.
