Statement of Significance
The place is significant as the first purpose built bank in Capel.
Physical Description
Clad with brick veneer over the original timber framed and weatherboard clad building. Aluminium framed windows have replaced the original timber framed windows. The corrugated iron clad gambrel roof has several hips.
History
The place was purpose built as the Union Bank office and Managers residence. In the 1950s it was a bakery , and in the 1960s, the place was the Doctor's surgery.
