Baby May Knowles was born on 6/10/1909. She was delivered by midwife Susannah Peacock on Rockwell Farm. Owing to a condition then described as "general weakness" the baby died after only three days. She was buried by her father, Walter Douglas Knowles, and mother, Augusta May (nee Beviss) Knowles, of Frankland River. The significance of the place lies in its association with Susannah Peacock who was an influential member of the Cranbrook community, and the role played by the women of the district who acted as midwives for other women (refer Place 6497- Susannah Peacock's House).
There is little or nothing to show where the grave is located.
