The bank represents the sustainability and progress of the region. The place is a significant element in the streetscape of the main street of Quairading.
Brick construction with a hipped tiled roof. The street facade has a rendered parapet with rendered pilasters. The balanced asymmetrical facade has two recessed entries each with a parapet feature.
The Commercial Bank commenced operations in Quairading in 1927, in rooms rented from Mr Renwick. The bank moved temporarily to the old National Bank building while the existing premises were constructed in 1937.
