Statement of Significance
The cottage, built around 1895, was to accommodate railway workers. It was also used by Mrs Stella Penton in 1922 while her residence was being built at Hollowgate.
Physical Description
The house is on the south side of the pipeline and the original Perth-Kalgoorlie railway line. The residence was a two-roomed brick cottage with front and back verandahs and a corrugated iron roof.
