Statement of Significance

The place is historically and aesthetically significant for it's architectural characteristics and important as the original chapel and quarters built in 1905 and 1908 and socially significant for their association with the Tambellup Community.

Physical Description

The church hall is a simple design reminiscent of the Victorian Carpenter Gothic style, although constructed from corrugated iron with only the front entry porch in weatherboardPlaque on the dorr reads;
"Former Methodist Church Tambellup. First Service in 1901. Church erected in 1905. Regular worship and Sunday School from 1907-1975".
