The site represents a way of life no longer practised znd demonstrates the value os an education to the early settlers.
A Plaque marks the site.
The school was the first in what is now the Shire of Bruce Rock. Mrs Jessie Veitch was the teacher and the school was in her home. It commenced in 25th September 1911 and continued until 30th Septemeber 1913. The students comprised of Mrs Veitch's children and the Cunningham family.
