Significant as an Individual Building. Retain and conserve if possible: endeavour to conserve the significance of the place through the provisions of the Town Planning Scheme. Photographically record the place prior to any major redevelopment or demolition.

Statement of Significance

A small weatherboard cottage with most features intact. There is some confusion about the history of this
house. It does not appear on the 1901 water map of Cottesloe. In 1905 rales it is not evident which this
is. The lot nos are however listed in 1899 as being there with a weatherboard house in the Cottesloe
Electricity Company survey.

Physical Description

Timber and iron cottage possibly after 1906 with a gabled roof set among old trees behind a high
hedge. Verandah to south and west.
