Statement of Significance

A striking example of modern architecture which has enhanced this part of Cottesloe. High on a hill It can
be seen from some distance. It is large but not overwhelming or gauche. It was designed by prominent
architects Overmann & Zuidveld.

Physical Description

A striking rendered brick and glass building in extensive grounds high on a hill near Eric Street, 1992. A
columned facade two storeys high with plate glass walls. Four substantial and gracious apartments in
one elegant postmodern building - a modern rendition of a Mediterranean palazzo with colonnaded
loggias.

History

Associated with developer Kevin Merrifield previously Merrifield and Stokes [Kerry Stokes] who developed a number of
the early shopping centres in Western Australia. The builder was Danny Psaros.
