History

‘The period between 1920 and 1940 saw further development of the inner-city suburbs of Mount Lawley, Inglewood and Maylands. Houses with Spanish styling influence were prevalent in the metropolitan area at this time. However, in the City of Stirling they were rare, and few remain extant.’
‘Williamsons Motor House in Guildford Road has references to the Alhambra in Spain.’ Thus, displaying Moorish architectural elements.
