Statement of Significance

The site represents the railway transport system, and the associated settlement and development of the agricultural activities it facilitated.

History

The water tank was gravity fed from the Railway dam. The tank provided an overhead gravity fed water supply to the steam trains. The standpipe and trough are located under the peppertree.
