The place demonstrates associations with a prosperity and decline in railway passenger transport in Moora. It represents the former function of the railway system and community development in Moora.
Brick construction with parapet concealing the roof.
The new station was constructed to cater for the goods trains and the passenger buses. It was officailly opened on 29th September 1978, replacing the original station. In 1988, the Moora Stationmaster was withdrawn.
