Brick construction with a low pitched gable corrugated fibro roof. The roof extends over the platform and is supported by square timber posts. The platform and station are at ground level.

History

The railway first came to the Narembeen siding in 1917 on a line extending northwards from Narrogin via Yilliminning, Dudinin, Kulin and Kondinin. Narembeen siding was the railhead from 1917 until 1925 when the Merredin line was opened. At that time the Narembeen Roads Board requested the construction of restrooms at the Narembeen Railway Station. The request was denied by the Railways Department, although a station of some sort would have been in place as there was a stationmaster and stationmaster's house in 1925. By 1968 the stationmaster J Dawson, had two staff, and 20 trains a week passes through Narembeen Station. In 1970 a Stationmaster was still in place at Narembeen. After the closure of the station, the Shire took over the responsibility for the place, and a Youth Club has operated for a number of years at the Station. Called the "Shack", a roster of parents supervises the Youth Club, which is one of the few outlets in town for the social interaction of young people.
