The Boyup Brook Railway Station is historically and socially significant as representative of the arrival of the railway in 1909. The railway provied the major impetus for the development of the town and was an important service for the agricultural industry. The building is a fine example of a weathrboard and iron railway station.
The building is constructed of weatherboard and iron with a brick chimney. The original roof sheeting has been replaced and the building has been conserved.
