This site is significant to the education facilities that were available to the families in this area.
Set close to the corner of Warralakin and Leach Road and has been marked with a plaque.
The School was opened from 1925 to 1928. The north Walgoolan school like other schools within the area was of a class 7, having and enrolement of ten to twenty pupils within the education system. A class 7 would be located at a junction of cross roads in a farming community and would service farming families within a five mile radius. The building would be transportable and could be moved to another site.
