The place, for its building form and architectural characteristics, makes a positive contribution to the streetscape. It is an example of an Inter-War bungalow and is representative of the development of Maylands following the turn of the century.
A symmetrical hip roof house with a full width verandah on turned posts and with a decorative fret work frieze. It has tuck pointed brick walls to dado with rough cast render over and a tiled roof. It has a central front door flanked by 10 pane casement windows in sets of three. There is a central stair to the verandah of this bungalow.
