Statement of Significance
· The place has historic value for its association with the establishment of the community at Pickering Brook and the provisions of education.
· The place has social value for the Pickering Brook community as it has been the location of schooling for most of the children in the district since 1915.
Physical Description
Historic site marked by a painted rock outside the entrance to the current primary school. Original school has been relocated to Bickley Recreation Camp.
