Statement of Significance

The place has historic importance, the 'Goblup Estate' belongedt o Lady Cockburn-Campbell before Lord Brassey purchased it. The Anderson Brothers, Tom and Ross, took it over in 1940 and the new homestead was constructed.

Simple rectangular design, with CGI roofing. Verandah at front supported by wooden poles.

History

This building believed to be a workmen's cottage is all that remains of the buildings of the 'Goblup Estate', now 'Condeena Estate'. 'Goblup' was owned by the Dowager, Sophia, Lady Cockburn-Campbell followed by Lord Brassey.
