Statement of Significance

The place represents a significant contribution tot he streetscape. It s a fine exmple of early commercial architecture in Moora and integral within the townscape and charctr of Moora.

Physical Description

Double shop frontage with matching parapets with decorative pediments. The verandah has been replaced by a suspended canopy. The two double shop front doors are located at the outer sides of the building.

History

In 1925 Robert Bond was operating his barber shop and billiards saloon at these premises. By 1964, after a number of other uses, Colin Kennedy's Pharmacy and Hair Salon was established in the building.
