A significant and representative group of simple houses forms contributing to the environmental character of this residential part of Fremantle.
No 16 is a single house, single storied with stone walls, high pitched corrugated iron roof and verandah across a symmetrical front and built onto the street boundary. Built pre 1897 – but the constructional form and extant original details in joiner suggest an earlier date, possibly 1885. A modern verandah replaces the original simple verandah.
Nos 20, 22, 24 are three attached single story houses with rendered walls, high pitched corrugated iron roofs and verandahs across symmetrical fronts and built on to the street boundary. Built in 1883 in a constructional form still with extant original details in window and timber fascias, derived from an earlier date. Modern verandahs replaces the original simple verandahs.
