This place is a representative example of an early shop and has historic value for its association with the development of the Maylands townsite, making a significant contribution to this
streetscape.
This is a classically derived terrace of three shops with a central pediment bay flanked by symmetrically disposed bays. The upper balustrade is panelled and all three shops appear to have authentic shop fronts. The canopy is a replacement. It has stucco finished brickwork with a suspended canopy over the footpath and a metal framed shopfront.
A very important part of the Whatley Crescent historic commercial precinct. The terrace of three shops that haveconsiderable aesthetic value. The dwelling behind was originally the Maylands Station Master's house.
