Statement of Significance

The Old Well, Tenindewa, has some historic value as a source of water for the local community. The place has further aesthetic significance given the good condition of the stonework and the high integrity of the place.

Physical Description

Located at the end of a dirt track east of the Yuna-Tenindewa Road is a large clearing in the low scrub and bushes. The track loops around a stone lined well which is covered by a square metal grille. The circular well is approximately 2.5 metres in diameter and appears to be in good condition
