Large timber/fibro and iron bungalow with brick chimneys in a corner position. Early photographs indicate that the previous open verandah supported on slender posts have now been filled in with timber and lattice. The northern verandah is no longer open and has been enclosed with a fibro wall.
The original building site was advertised for sale by Jack Buswell, a local brick manufacturer, in September 1907. It is thought that the house was built soon after this. No entries have been found for the lot in the available Bunbury Rate Books prior to 1951.
In 1951, House 2 Wittenoom Street was owned and occupied by Laurence Mickle.
The building is largely in original form.
Exterior: Appears good.
