The place is a significant representation of the commercial activities of Dangin, and demonstrates a way of life.
The weatherboard and iron structure is rectangular in plan with a lean-to addition and residential entry porch each side. The front is symmetrical with a central double door.
In 1934 the bank of New South Wales was built in Dangin, and the manager for the duration of the bank being open was Mr Stronach. The bank closed in 1947, moving the operation to Quairading. Mr JJ Adamson bought the bank premises and lived there with his family until 1967, with the bank still operating in the front of the building twice a week, until the early 1950s. The Adamson's home was also used by the clinic sister.
