Social significance to the local community as a venue for sporting and recreational pursuits. Aesthetic significance as evidenced by Booyeembarra Park being awarded by the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects and the invovlement of the local community for the project.
Comprises of Royal Fremantle Golf Course, Fremantle Golf course, Community Garden Centre And Booyeembarra Park, bounded by High Street Carrington Street, Stevens Street and Montreal Street. There are various club buildings within these facillities, as well large areas of open space and numerous trees.
In May 2006 Booyeembarra Park was awarded three awards from the Australian Institute of Landscape Architects.
