Physical Description

Single-storey cottage c.1900. Originally had weatherboard front and corrugated iron sides.Front verandah was originally lined at sides with trellis. Original iron roof has been replaced with fibro-metal tiles.

History

Known from 1908 onwards as 'Ercildoune' by the Grace family. Home built prior to 1908. Mr Max Grace lived here as a child and later became Commissioner of the Fremantle Port Authority.
