Physical Description

The predominant features of this place include the gable ended high pitched metal roof, the timber finial, the symmetrical facades, the random stonework, the brick quoining, the highlight windows over the doors and the semi-circular arch with moulded keystone (Federation Romanesque reference). The pace was similar to the "Bally Bally Hall", "Dale Community Hall" amd "East Beverley Hall".

History

Built in 1890 by Mr james fairhead, the building was demolished in 1905. the Town Hall is built on the site. A lending library was kept here. Picture shows and social evenings were held here.
