Statement of Significance
The site represents associaitons with the beginning of education on Babkin and a way of life no longer practised. Associations with early settlers and education.
History
Mrs Caroline Coyle taught at the Assisted School at the Coyle Homestead from the 29th January 1913 to the 18th June 1913, after which time the school was opened at this site.
