Statement of Significance
The site is important for its association with the development of recreational activities in
the district.
Physical Description
The Woodanilling School is located to the north east of the town. The site of the tennis
courts was to the north (rear) of the current school (The first school was burned down in
1949). It was situated on level ground (as is most of the school ground) which remains
open space.
