Statement of Significance
Historic - Possibly the first house to be transported to the Ongerup area.
Physical Description
The Cassencarry homestead was originally erected in Coolgardie and was dismantled in 1912. carefully
numbered and railed to Broomehill. It reached its final destination by wagon and was re-erected at its
present site. The kitchen was separate and joined onto the back verandah.
