Two shops makes a contribution to the historic streetscape and townscape of Narrogin evidencing the
development of the immediate post wars periods of the 1920s and 1950s periods in the town of
Narrogin. It contributes to the Egerton Street streetscape, and the historic streetscape and townscape
of the Narrogin Town Centre.
The single storey double shop front evidences a moulded double parapet of c.1920, and a stepped
parapet behind of the 1950s period as is the expansive skillion roof. The east shop frontage has a
low brick dado and shopfront glazing above with highlight glazing. The west shopfront is bricked in
except for the fixed highlight glazing and double door entry.
Dawson built the original shop on the site for his undertakers and sports shop.
