A well made interwar house with the facade at least substantially intact. There was substantial grov^h in S
Cottesloe in the interwar years. This is part of that legacy.
An interwar bungalow with Californian overtones such as the characteristic large timber and stucco front
gable. The roof of terracotta tiles has finials to the north facing gable and gablet. The walls are
tuckpointed red brick in stretcher bond to eye level with pebbledash above. The casement window wraps
around the corner of the house. The timber-floored verandah has battered pebbledash piers and square
wooden posts. On the north side there is also a slatted timber railing. The chimney stacks are tall and
battered with pebbledash finish and terracotta pots. A porthole window with stained glass is near the
front door. An extension to rear of the house is of a later date.
