History

Shire Hall was built in 1964 and was extended to become incorporated in the Senior Citizen's Centre.
The Old Civic Centre/ Library building was constructed in 1971 and used as the Shire Office until the
Shire relocated to Joondalup in November 1979. The Limelight Theatre was constructed in 1976 and
Aquamotion in 1990.
