The places are significant for the associations with people and the development of the commercial centre of Corrigin.
The centre of the three separate buildings with separate but similar shop fronts. The separate gable ended corrugated roofs are concealed behind parapets. The parapets are similar to many of the other buildings in Walton and Campbell Streets. An arcade originally ran between the sports shop sand Bil n Bab, although there is no apparent remaining evidence. The verandahs have all been removed from the buildings and replaced in c1970s with suspended canopies.
The middle of the three shops was established in c1925 by Colin Campbell and JP Christie, stock and station agents, as well as agents for the Winterbottoms Motor vehicle company. Campbell was also the secretary of the Sheep Owner's association, and Christie the secretary of the Agricultural Society. The building to the west was constructed about the same time, but the one on the eastern side replaces a weatherboard and iron structure sometime after 1929.
